Map convertion

Hallo. I am new in this forum, so I hope not to ask something already asked.
My question is: I have a Mitac Mio168 GPS, using Teleatlas maps (files type WCE_A.xxx). I have also a TomTom Navigator 3 program (which I like much more), using again Teleatlas maps. But: the one of Mio-Map (a Destinator software) is more recent than the other. Can I, and in this case how, convert the Mio Map/Destinator map into the TomTom map? Both of them are by Teleatlas...

Hello and welcome.

It is generally not possible to convert maps from one program's format to another, even if they originate from the same map provider.

Usually the navigation systems are buying different sets of map properties from the map providers, which makes the maps already incompatible. On top of that none of them is interested to lose revenue.
