my GPS kit ...
TomTom3 Bluetooth and the Arkon Powered mount.
A quick question before i do - Will i need more memory on my h5550 to get started or can i upgrade that at a later stage .....
Where shall i but the kit from - who's cheapest - who's got the best deals at the mo ..... |

tom tom map software for uk needs about 102 meg if I remember correctly, so if you don't have a 128 mb SD card for your pda, you'd better get one. |

Agree with Eric on this, you will need more memory, if you decide to download the uk post code add on you should really go for at least 256mb.
I've also had a problen with the Akron mount, well the tilt swivel vent mount anyway. If you're just going to use the screen sucker thats excellent and the speaker is good aswell. The whole thing's a bit on the bulky side but when I used the vent mount there didn't seem enough resistance to prevent it falling to 45 degrees or even upside down!!

I've got a Brodit mount with built in speaker - they cost a bit more, but I believe you certainly get what you pay for as far as mounts go. It has been excellent for me. _________________ TomTom GO 950 LIVE |
