Combining POI's

I currently have 2 POI's:

- BP Petrol stations; and
- LPG filling stations with forecourt

Ideally what I would like to do is to combine both to generate BP Petrol stations with LPG.

Is it possible to do this and what software, if any, do I need?

Hi Valiant,

If you use a POI creator program such as WinOV2, you can reverse the POI creation process.

E.g. Instead of creating an .ov2 file (the POI file) from an .asc file (the text/data file), you can create the .asc file from the .ov2 file.

WinOV2 is quite simple to use and to do this, you just select the appropriate options from the drop down file menus at the top of the program.

Once you have done this and have got the .asc file for each POI file, you can cut and paste the two separate lots of text into one new .asc file and then create a brand new .ov2 file using WinOV2 which uses all of this combined data.

I find it easier to show people things rather than explain them by writing them down, so I do hope that this all makes sense to you and helps you achieve what you want to do! If not, please ask again and I will try to explain it a bit better.
