|
|
I'm thinking of getting TT3 but because they don't offer a trial version I'm not sure. At the moment I find the website MultiMap offers the most detailed maps. Just wondering how TT3 compares. Can anybody with the European maps tell me how it compares with for example:
Sopelana in Northern Spain
Lat: 43:22:51N, Lon: 2:58:57W
http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=43.3808&lon=-2.9824&scale=5000&icon=x
Are there any plans to cover Ireland? |

As you can see MultiMap uses TeleAtlas map data. So TomTom should show roughly the same level of detail. _________________ Lutz

Good point, just thought the PDA versions might be slightly abridged to take up less room. I just checked MapQuest website against Mapopolis (both use NavTeq) and they have the same streets. I suppose it's one way of finding out map coverage if you can't get a demo. |

Just got a reply from TomTom support who sent me two screenshots. Just in case anybody else is interested it seems to have more minor streets that MultiMap. |
