Hi Depsi,
How long have you had the Fortuna Clip-On?
How long did you leave the battery out?

hi,
Had the clip-on for about 5 weeks now.
It was being charged by my Seidio in car-mount.
Disconnected the Seidio connection and switched off the GPS for the night
next day the GPS power light was orange and wouldn't start-up.
If I charge the battery (using the original charger) when On it goes from Red-Orange and when charged when Off it goes from Red-Green. But still can't get the thing to work.
I've left the battery out for 24 hours but still no Joy.
Any help appreciated.... |

Actually when charging when On it goes from Red-Yellow rather then orange. |

Hi,
Try leaving the battery out, over night.
I've only used my Fortuna Clip-On in ST mode. I think the LEDs go different colours when it's in XT mode. Is there any chance that you've switched it to XT mode?
Failing that, my Clip-On failed within a week of owning it and I had to get it replaced due to loosing it's power.

hi Privateer,
many thanks for the advice, yeah i've messed about with it endlessly switching modes, leaving the battery out for 24 hours, recharging the battery.
I assume the clip-on should still work with no battery, but mine shows just an orange light. Sending it back to the retailer tomorrow to get it repaired\replaced by Fortuna. |
