Does the SDIO Gps work with normal navigation software?

Assuming the SD GPS is offering a standard serial port to the operating system there should be no reason why this shouldn't work with the most common navigation programs. The critical thing here is the card driver, i reckon. Just like with the old Navman sleeves.
