I have an iPAQ 4150, which just has an SDIO slot, no CF slot. It also has bluetooth. I want to buy a GPS that I can use in my car and on hikes and bike rides. My thought was that an SDIO would be the best bet for portability. So far I have only found two GPS's for SDIO slots: a Pharos and a GlobalSat. According to what I have read, the Pharos does not have any memory on its SDIO, which kind of rules it out, and the GlobalSat does (or will). Are these two my only SDIO choices? Will I get decent reception in my car? When will the GlobalSat with SDIO memory be available in the States.

Thanks for any information you can provide.

So many questions, so few answers... Apart from ad-ware we haven't seen real receivers yet. And as you state there's the problem of the missing memory. I reckon it will take another quarter before we se real products.

The antenna itself should be pivoting to allow you to position it independently from the screen.

Why don't you go with a BlueTooth receiver in the meantime?

Thanks for your answer. I didn't initially want to go with a bluetooth because I didn't want to have to carry around a separate receiver. I think I may have seen something that lets you clip the receiver to the ipaq. If I can find that again, I will probably go with the bluetooth.
