Just wondering when we are likley to see a navigon 5 Review?
The website makes two references I'm particularly interested in.
1. A GPS unit that can work through a metallic windscreens.
2. Some really high charges for Map data using clevermap which I am hoping are wrong by at least a decimal point. otherwise the only reason it's clever is for Navigon profits.
Has anyone heard anything yet?
Cheers,
Chris |

1) that's referring to the SiRF III chipset which indeed seems to be sensitive enough to pull signals through coated windshields
2) An additional problem is that there is no more mapexport in v5. Many 4.2 users won't upgrade because of that. _________________ Lutz

When is a review likley to be available? I already have navigon but I'm honestly not sure if I'll upgrade it if the maps are that expensive. |

I can only say that a review of OnCourse Navigator 5 will be available when the product launches. Can't speak for the Navigon version. _________________ Lutz

As Navigon have stated at CeBit there is also no skin editor planned - another eyebrow-raiser... _________________ Lutz
