Do not unserstand a setting

Hi all,
What a great surprise coming back here after using speedtrap app and finding camera alert active again. I have it all set up, but could not find an answer to what some may say is obvious but I cannot follow it. In the advanced settings there is Audio Output whith three choices. Default, Device speaker and Bluetooth headset. I understand Device speaker and Bluetooth headset, and I select one or the other depending if I want to leave the car on Bluetooth and have the voice on the car system, or if I want to listen to the radio I have it on device speaker. I do not understand what Default would do?
