ov2 instead of gpx downloading, error on website?

Trying to download the POI for Mercedes (GPX) to give them a go in my Volvo V40 (same format) every time I download the zip file, when unzipped they are ov2 files and not the gpx format I was expecting. Any help grateful received.

Hi,

I have just checked your download history and done the exact same download. It is the GPX files.

What I think may be happening is that your computer has, at some point, been set to open .gpx files with TomTom software so the icon will show an OV2 icon.

If you right click on the downloaded file and choose Properties (or 'Get info' on a Mac) then double check the file extension there.

just tried downloading again, and the files i now have got are with the .gpx, as opposed to .ov2 file names. Odd, but happy i now have the right things
