TomTom and autoroute

I have tomtom 3 on my handheld and autoroute on my laptot is there any way i can use the tomtom gps reciver with autoroute

Is your receiver BlueTooth or serial?

BlueTooth: your laptop needs to be blueTooth enabled to use the receiver
Serial: you'll need to get a special adapter so you can connect the receiver to the serial port on your laptop and to a power source (for example from a PS/2 port)

Autoroute will work with compliant GPS receivers although there is no voice guidance in Autoroute.

If you want to use a program like Autoroute that has voice guidance on your laptop then Infomap's Navigator fits the bill
