But, is it the 1x1 pixel or the magenta colour that is doing the trick? Make it bigger, but magenta and see if you can see a nice magenta dot instead of a blue one.

Don't think it matters M.
What I have found is that the transparent dot doesn't interfere with the normal BMP by creating a transparent hole in it.
Interesting to note, during break testing, that the bmp shows as normal for the approach distance then the blue dot appears over the top at the overspeed distance.
The zip file now contains the identical overspeed.bmp in all 3 sizes folders. _________________ DashCam:

But when I tried it, it didn't work, that's why I asked K whether it was the small size ir the colour that made it not visible. If he made it bigger than 1 pixel (so that it is clearly visible) then change the colour to 255,0,255, does it go invisible?
I'll try it myself later.

Hi Kremmen,
Can I make a request for an enhancement to your program:
Under Help - Program Location can the popup box with the location be changed to allow the location details to be copied to the clipboard please?
This would allow the location to be pasted into the exclusion section of antivirus or anti malware programs which sometimes dislike the rapid file changes that your program makes. _________________ Paul

Certainly can make any request. That's what I'm here for on these cold days.
Good call.
I already have a function to display the program location so I just need to clipboard it.
Done - v58 now available from the usual link.
Note that the previous version number file is now a ReadMe. Note the contents as there are some file copies highlighted from the recent releases. _________________ DashCam:

Hi, something strange is happening to the overspeed.gpx file when processing a warning text change. All the cameras in the overspeed.gpx file are renamed to MOBILE cameras. The first few lines of the processed file (I have changed greater and less than to curly braces) are:
Camera 46 is a GATSO not a MOBILE and was shown correctly in the overspeed.gpx file as a GATSO until I processed the warning text change.
The options that I have selected in the warning text change (from settings.txt) are:
Code:
GatsoText, FIXED Camera
MobileText, MOBILE Camera
PMobileText, pMOBILE Camera
RedlightText, RED LIGHT Camera
SpecsText, AVERAGE SPEED Cam
AllowText, False
RemoveText, True
TextFormat1, True
TextFormat2, False
TextFormat3, False
TextFormat4, False
TextMPH, mph
I also notice that an extra space is being inserted in settings.txt immediately before the word Camera on every line except the GatsoText line and that there is no entry in settings.txt for the text set for the RedSpeed family of cameras. _________________ Paul
First test - I can find no processing issue with any of it except for Overspeed. Overspeed isn't touched and the other categories are process by 'family'.
Mobile must have been the last family processed so it's used that throughout the Overspeed file = bug and I will work on that.
I'll look into the Settings TXT as I must have missed RedSpeed.
Fortunately there are no screen changes required so I just need a strategy to deal with the Overspeed file that contains all families.

No rush
It was easier than I first thought.
The problem now is that there are so many combinations I'm sure some will produce errors.
Plus I won't be touching the PC till Monday as I'm off out later to try and verify cameras 9283 and 177194, both of which have been flagged for removal.
One is a recent change to Monitron and the other is a new Specs so I'm suspicious.
I'm hoping to get my latest usual 100% rejection rate. _________________ DashCam:

Well, Kremmen gave me one with 255,0,255 background and I generated a couple myself in Paint. All I got was the usual icon with a magenta background rather than a white one on my 2699.
Any other ideas?
