It's a known bug which I reported to Evesham over 3 weeks ago. It seems that the Backup CD is the problem as it only happened to me once I reinstalled the software. This happened with 3 units I've had, I now avoid using the Backup CD.
Just have to sit back and wait for an update if we ever get one as I've notced a few bugs with the software. You could always return the unit for replacement under the 30day no questions asked gaurantee at ASDA. |

thanks, how do you avoid using the cd if you need to do a restore |

How do you hack past the boot screen to get to the OS, I've got the 7700.

Cheers. | hi ive just joined the forum and and own a 6200 i am wondering is it possible to update the 6200 with the maps of the 7700 aa vive as my friend is buying a 7700 vive europe and i want the europe maps ....also is there a way of using the new 7700 software on a 6200 as it looks a lot better ...i may have bought a 6200 too early and waited for the 7700 ...please help |

i did that and it says no gps device but after a while it worked for one second and then it just looses connection and doesnt connect back up. |
