Just for reference, no noticeable changes for me.
I'm using the STA multimedia option via my car head unit. Far better than the option that produces a pseudo phone call. _________________ DashCam:

This is on my Google Pixel 6 Pro. |
What is your configuration? I mean using Android Auto or not, BT connection, does the phone stream music. |
It's not using either but directly from the phones speakers. I've checked and it's only since the latest BETA that the volume has dropped. It's normal volume on anything else I try via the phones speaker phone. |

Plus when tested offline the volume is just as low. This is on my Google 6 Pro. |

Multimedia is good as with the pseudo phone call setting it was truncating the start of the message.
The phone call setting also completely muted the car audio whereas multimedia just lowers the volume which I find better. _________________ DashCam:

Hi,
New version 1.2.9.2 code 110 both for production and beta.
New in this release:
- Optional usage of "voice communication" audio channel for voice alerts.
Off by default. Worth of trying if a phone is BT-connected with a car radio unit and typically plays music/podcasts together with STA running. Voice alerts should be clearer and louder.
If a phone is not connected leave this option unchecked. Otherwise alerts volume will be dropped down.
Feedback from Android auto users with this option checked will be appreciated a lot.
- bug fixes and some improvements here and there. |

Just a quick heads up to Leo, I noticed today a small red triangle in the top right hand corner of my STA screen when I was using it and had the speed setting showing. Any idea what it is? As I think its something to do with STA as when I dropped out to the normal home screen it was not there on the phone.
Also can the blue boxes that appear after you have passed a camera, at the bottom right of the screen, be disabled as I don't think they add anything and are a little distracting once you notice them. |

It appears when STA tries to get real time data and web request fails for some reasons, mainly because of lost internet connection. |

Thanks for the reply Leo.
And can the blue box to confirm camera acceptance be disabled? |

Leo answered this for me on 18th May in this thread (half way down page 39). You need to turn off real time alerts

I can see that you can set the speed to receive the initial alert e.g. Any or +5 etc but does that impact the close countdown as well? Or is that a separate setting? If I am +1 over in alerts continually as I get close...can that be changed? |
