Ok! this is a bit of a new one for you. I have recently been involved with an advertising company called Arena Digital Productions who place avertising screens in places like football stadiums, shops, warehouses, etc. You can be selective about where you advertise or you can do some blanket advertising.
No harm like a phone call maybe. _________________ Dom

What about a referral scheme whereby a subscriber recommends X number of other people to sign up and they get X months free sub?
Might be open to abuse by unscrupulous people spamming to get referrals which might reflect badly on PGPSW.
Perhaps the person who is referred could be told to enter the referrer name or a referral code in the sign up page. That way, if they saw the link spammed somewhere then they could complain and the person responsible could be reprimanded. _________________ Gone fishing! |

A stall at the Sydney Motor Show would have cleaned up - I'm sure it would be the same in London and elsewhere. You folks need to surf this wave in the next 6-12 months, or you're gonna lose the market to a bigger player. |

For the moment we are using the budget on UK advertising, but it is our intention to branch out worldwide as soon as the recently launched international speed camera database reaches a quality we are all happy with. |
australia and south africa are both pretty good already and we've been getting quite a few subs from each country's locals. we also have 3 aussie verifiers
lithuania is getting quite a few submissions too!
spain is fairly comprehensive and italy, france and poland are getting there too.
usa gets a handful of submissions but i understand mike surveyed quite a few while he was (is?) over there.

I was thinking globally, but yes, this Xmas is going to be the "GPS Xmas" down here by all reports. |

Is it too early yet to know how successful the Top Gear advert was?
What a great result with A-Z!! Here _________________ Andy

We haven't yet placed any magazine ads but are planning to do so in the coming months.
AtoZ is a great catch for us with front cover credits but we have also secured deals with a number of other printed map publications, take a peek at the small text inside the front covers of most atlases and you'll see our name somewhere. _________________ Darren Griffin |
