I am in the middle of doing this just now, I get the maps needed onto the i3 and can route etc but when I try where to? and address, i get prompted to search by state but there are no states to search, I loaded up maps from 2 different states but no luck still the same.
I can search cities and the POI's are all ok just no address search?
i3 v3.10(although same result with other versions)
Used MetroWhizz and the long route with the same result |

Did you follow the link in post 2 on this thread - to the old method of getting the index?

The method listed here managed to get indexing!
Have you tried or ignored this method? |

I've tried this old method and same problem - works fine with Europe though. As a last resort (going on hols to USA tomorrow) can I upload map tiles and autoroute to a POI created by myself ? |

This must be a problem with Metroguide usa V5 . I have metroguide North America V6 and the index works fine on Maps I have loaded to my i3 _________________ i3 2.70(went to 2.82,3.0,3.1 but downgraded) with V8 map on microSD card
Metroguide Europe V7 & V8 (routable and indexed)

I don't envey going on holiday today given the news! _________________ i3 2.70(went to 2.82,3.0,3.1 but downgraded) with V8 map on microSD card

I have a 310d with euro maps i have coppied a France map on to a SD card for a friend.
Will it work for him?
I entend to post it Monday before he goes on holiday his unit is a 300 nuvi |
