Hello again Lutz, If I go into poi edit of my Go the cameras appear as I have captured them but when I connect to my PC and open the western europe map folder then open the pocketgpscamera ov2 file only the initial capture which just happens to be my home location , appears and none of the recorded cameras are there,

What program are you using on the PC?

No, because the OV2 file is binary and will not display properly in Notepad.

Crikey Woodchip, I hadn't even noticed that... well spotted.... :D

Do we get a cake with candles on too??

I'm with you on the advanced side mate, don't worry!! And I reckon if this carries on, we'll be getting our fanatic symbol soon too... just as long as the grey hairs stay away!!!

Talking of that Woodchip, I'll be without a PC for a week next week, so keep up the good work, and I'll ensure to catch up.... but I'm sure we'll talk over the weekend.

By the way... POI Edit, Great programme and a doddle to learn, and once mastered... extremely useful!!! Any pointers I can give, just shout.

As pointed out, this will read your OV2's as this is how I discovered mine were corrupt... which I still haven't dare try again!
I want to keep my Go stable ready for next weeks adventures!

Just created myself a nice spalsh screen too of a Toyota Logo... do you know, I could,'t find one ready made on this or any other forum!!

In fact, the more I think about this connection business the more I'm wondering.... would there be any software on my PC (Firewall etc) that could be causing the issue, as I use a PC at work and connect it there to get my cameras, (and do my splash today) and after disconnecting it's still ok, and don't ever seem to have any issues with POIC reloading...??!!

Oh gee, I feel more tests coming on, which will inevitbly mean re-installing POIC again.... Twisted Evil
