Sorry for late reply, I've been away.

I would always suspect mapsettings.cfg in cases like this. We KNOW it often isn't compatible between different software versions and even though people have found get-rounds which SEEM to make it work (such as using "Operate my Go" in Home to add a new favourite) I take the stance that if you are getting ANY odd behaviour, it is best to just delete it, allow the new system software to create a fresh one and then enter your settings again.

A bit boring to do, but worth it to eliminate that possible reason for any problems.

I re-created the mapsettings.cfg file recently after the Live Services problems and the upgrade to 9.058 & 8.55 maps.

If you have a lot of data/settings you could always backup then delete the mapsettings.cfg file and just let it create a new file then test it out without re-entering all your settings. If the problem has cleared this points to the file so then re-enter all your settings. If the problem is still there, it is probably not the file so you can restore the original from backup with the settings it contains.
