Just to add to my last post, I too sometimes experience slow satellite fixing, despite a correct configuration of "Other cable NMEA" and 4800 baud.
The problem is most prevalent if I have moved a significant distance since I last switched off the GPS.
For some reason performing a hard reset with the dimple on the back of the 2210 usually results in a faster satellite re-fix than simply sitting and waiting.

HELP!! Can anyone tell me HOW to burn the NEW ROM upgrade onto a Yakumo Delta X, the Yakumo web site had the new driver today, (8,8,2005) but the PDF help file is in German! a rough translation with Babel tells me what to do but i cannot seem the get into the ROM UPDATE mode as shown in the PDF, they say remove battery, switch OFF then ON then put battery back in & hold the joystick in the down postion but i cannot seen to get there! any help gratefully received

OK further to yesterdays message, the Yakumo Delta X web page now has the ENGLISH ROM upgrade complete with instructions in English! Hurrah
What's more it solves the satellite problems, well done Yakumo! (pity the tech support don't answer emails though)
