Hi adventurer
This only happens each time you go in to change pio the distance drops by 1 yard each time don’t know why
Anyone got the answer to the decreasing distance every tome you go in to make a change?

adventurer wrote: | I am sorry if this off topic, but I have set the 30 gatso at 300yds and then i decided to change it to 250yds. I did a route demo in between these changes and then when I went to change it to 250 I noticed that the 300yds I had sent had on it's own changed to 299yds.
Should this happen, how do I stop it from happening?
If I can't stop this everytime I go past a camera the distance will reduce and I will have to re-set all the distanced every month.
help please................. |
It's not every time you pass a camera, its every time you visit the "change distance" page that the figure drops. TomToms have always done that, just seems to be a minor bug that has never been fixed. It doesn't really matter as you only go to that page if you want to change the distance anyway! |

I have been looking for the same thing... just had a ink from Mike, so I'm passing it on for you.... http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras-tomtom-go-910.php

The instructions for using them can be found at the start of this Topic.;) _________________ Richard

So that you can be warned of speed cameras if you haven't got a route programmed |

But you get warnings of speed cameras off your planed route also (on adjacent roads etc) so I have a preference for using on route warnings. Wiz |

Just been on Ray's TomTom Site:
http://tomtomsatnav.info/realvoice.html
Forgive me if I'm being thick here but i've downloaded the Andy Siddell 22050HZ file from the bottom of the page which includes all the individual .ogg files, but there is the 20 mph warning missing for both, gatso, mobile and specs.
Am i missing something? if so could someone be a star and point me in the correct direction.
Cheers,

You are not missing any files its just that the 20 mile per hour ogg warnings were never made, I just use a simple Gatso ahead or Mobile or SPECS warning, you could mess around and record the 20 sound and splice it in to another warning to make your own. Bear in mind this isn't a five minute job though! - Mike |

Thanks Mike.
8O Ha! 8O Don't think I would want to hear my own voice saying that there is a 20mph speed camera ahead! Anyone got Andy Siddels phone number?!?!?! |

I had forgotten you have a Go-910 so you could program the warnings using a computer voice then plug the audio output of the car dock into the PC and record the audio clips on the PC - then convert them to ogg format at 22050Hz - Mike |
