Hi Oldboy, you are correct, I chose Address - City Centre. I'll try again later with "Point on Map". ttfn. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

OK, I've tried a few more LOCAL tests with a variety of input methods and my findings are ........inconclusive.
Well, that's being a bit unfair to TT really. The latest Android app does not simply visit the vias in the order you enter them, nor does it just sort them in order of distance away irrespective of direction. It does attempt to list them intelligently and optimise the route but sadly it does not always succeed. Hey, it's a step in the right direction and hopefully TT shall improve it rather than ditch it.
Just noticed that TT have also added "Drive to Lat,Long". Another plus.
I wonder if they have also added "Route Up" in 2D mode?, trouble is I'll have to get up off of the sofa to check that one out!
Mañana maybe. _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599

They Have, Obviously I've not tried it yet because I'm still sitting on the sofa but the option is "Settings -- Driving View -- 2D Map Rotation -- North Up or Route Up". _________________ Garmin Nuvi 2599
