That's me. Haven't been called that for a while. If a cam is there,it is usually assumed to be in operation. If it were not in the database,PGPSW would get loads of submissions saying that the cam wsa missing. Even on a Gatso, where you can detect the radar, there is no absolute method of telling if there is a cam in the box and even if there is no way of telling if it has any film in it. About the only way is by asking the authority who run it, possibly invoking the freedom of information act. Even if they say no, they could re-activate it th next day. But I expect you know that already and will insult me again for trying to help. |

I hope you don't mind a bit of advice. We are a pretty friendly and helpful lot in this forum. However, if you want help with your first and only thread, you are likely to get more people trying to help you if you don't start calling those who already have names
Instead you could try providing the additional information JockTamsonsBairn asked for. And to do that you need to follow the advice that the "plonker" gave. _________________ Peter

I can't provide any other info, other than the advice previously provided. I'd presume that the body controling the cams (council, camera partnership, whatever) would be the ones to ask. _________________ Jock
