ok i tried it out today & i must say things have improved greatly ,it even keeps up with me on round abouts which i had come to think was normal.

now that i think of it ,i should have known to change it ,just it is my fist pda & learning all the time

Confusingly, Haicom GPS is the wrong setting for an Evermore chipset Haicom GPS (model number ending in E).

Haicom GPS is a SiRF setting - it will send SiRF configuration commands to my HI-303MMF (which is SiRF based).


The Evermore chipset Haicoms are best used with NMEA 0183v2 4800 - I keep meaning to put this as a sticky in the Haicom forum.
