Yes havent noticed any changes EXCEPT FOR that CUSTOM POI button the the desktop MyTomTom app - which showed for a few minutes and has disappeared every since
Looks like it was a preparation update for something else coming soon, perhaps?
Hopefully Darren can get clarification... _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions, however the download has now stopped appearing and I'm still on 10.022.574650. I tried on a couple of different PC's, so I'm assuming that they have now withdrawn the application update.
The reply from Tom Tom support was absolutely useless, and they recommended that I use "My Tom Tom" to download updates! Obviously didn't read the contents of my support ticket. Have asked for clarification of versions, but I'm definately not holding my breath in hope!
Not that I'm overly concerned (at the moment), but my GO 1000 is also still on 10.022.574650.29 and shows no sign of finding anything more advanced.
It does try to find updates when connected to the laptop, but comes up short each time. I've reinstalled the MyTomtom app, cleared the cache with no luck.
Likewise I'm still on the v850 maps, despite others suggesting previously (late December/early Jan) that they'd managed to get an update.

I have a category named 'My POI category' Has that always been there?
Quite probably, have you tried creating a POI category on the device and adding locations to it on the device, once you have a custom POI category created then it should offer some options. Real shame you still can't add decent, well crafted accurate POI files from a quality source to the device as yet - Mike

Edit: PS I'd rather have an up to date map.
Yes I think that has always been there (on the unit), but it appeared (once) on the MyTomTom app on my PC during the update - so I think this will be how we import custom POIs from files (PGPSW, etc.) to the TomTom - but it disappeared as quickly as it appeared!
Sure it will be back soon
Don't know why they switched off the map-updates as mine came through in December quickly, installed cleanly and hasn't caused me any problems with multiple use every day since _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

From today you can download weekly Speed Cameras updates through MyTomTom.
As part of LIVE Services, Speed Cameras gives you the latest locations of fixed speed cameras so you can drive safely and stay relaxed – plus avoid costly fines.
Related to the Go 1000 - some progress on POIs - good news then
Custom POI's next? _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

Progress.... yes well if they got their own POIs sorted, and they custom POI icon / link is now in the app (if hidden), then surely they are not far away from releasing the custom POI tool to us all...? That's progress, well some movement at least! _________________ TomTom Go Live 6100, 600

If only i could get any speed camera files. Since mine updated i have no speed camera files. If i click the speed camera icon it just says activate through my tomtom. Apparently i am one of 11 people to whom this has happened to. Quote fro TomTom today. Well if it isn't fixed this week its getting taken back to Halfords for a exchange.
