Can't fault the 2210... but it's your choice at the end of the day!

As I identified in the comparison, 2210 has the CompactFlash slot which the 4150 lacks (though it does have built in Wi-Fi). Both are very good machines, and it's rather hard to separate them.

The 2210 seems to be afflicted with a few ROM (or possibly hardware design) gremlins, in that the TomTom Navigator 3 / Bluetooth GPS / 2210 issues do seem specific to the 2210, and I do have vague recollection of some problems in the past that were 2210 specific.

To be fair, the 2210 has been a tremendously popular machine, and there must be both a great deal of satisfied owners, and probably disproportionate forum traffic on any problem that does affect the 2210. As Navigator 2 reportedly worked fine on the 2210, and it seems that hiding POI makes Navigator 3.01 stable on the 2210, hopefully TomTom can find some software fix that makes Navigator 3 stable on the 2210 under all conditions.

TomTom Navigator 3, the GPS driver and the voice files are best in main memory - they take something like 5MB.

The map file sizes can be seen on the TomTom web site here.

For most purposes a 256MB memory card is more than adequate, though 512MB SD cards are becoming quite affordable.
