Tom tom 730 will not start up

I have now succesfully downloaded the files to the correct folder

I have also succesfully deleted the files incorectly downloaded

Just a final tip or two...

1. You MUST make a backup of the entire device. Use Windows Explorer to make your backups too (not Home).
Instructions for that are #1 in the "FAQs" topic near the top of the index of this forum. It's worth looking through the other topics there too.

2. Whenever you disconnect your 930 from the PC, you should always use the "Safely disconnect Hardware icon (down the bottom right of the screen in the tray near the clock). Click on that and WAIT until it is safe before you pull out the USB lead from the TomTom. Failing to do that can cause all sorts of problems (including your original issue of not starting up - although that can still happen occasionally, even if you do).
