Find a Location - "Newbury" just worked fine for me (it went to Latitude: 51.541654 Longitude: -1.33338) |
That's where I ended up - some 5 miles north of Newbury, other side of the M4 - I don't count that as Newbury.
"Exeter" and "Glasgow" both land me in each city centre. _________________ Dennis

My geography is appaling, that's why I use a sat-nav!
But my point was the "Location search" *is* working for me... (it's accuracy is a different issue ) |

Searching for negative values of co-ordinates over land is working today.
Using IE6 on XP. It looks as if Google have fixed it. _________________ Paul |

Location search is working for me tonight.
I have checked the SPECS average cameras on the M4 between J13 and J14 west of Newbury, Berkshire - they appear to been removed as I earlier advised.
I have added my Karting Track in Reading as a new POI successfully too.
Maybe this forum topic should be closed now as my original logged query is clearly fixed.
