new car was just over 5k - we had such a bargain with that! apparently it should have been able to get about 7.5k for it!

good job we went as soon as the ad was put in auto-trader and paid a deposit there and then! in the 22 hours from paying deposit to collecting it they'd had 5 calls about it :D

That's called "Good Aftersales Care". Tell the customer who's bought it that you had a load more offers afterwards, but held it back for him. Gives the customer a warm glow of gratitude and he'll not be back with a problem. I think. Maybe. Cool
