Edit: Darren, I never suggested it would be simple. Hard just takes longer.

The impossible takes even longer though Sal. I believe that .mtc took you a while Shocked to sort out.

I think that a loan of a Garmin as well so that you can test things out would be in order. Wink

'Twould be a great result though Very Happy

Nice thought Trevor, but I have already been offered a Nuvi if I need it.
Don't hold your breath though.

I have downloaded Camera Manager and have have the icon in the bottom right and when you hover over it, it says "updates are ready for installing" but cannot work out how to update. Also when you right click the icon, "check now" is in feint.

Hi and welcome.

If you download and use the Consolidated Database you can choose to omit certain camera files such as the Mobiles and RedLights, by simply not loading them.

Unfortunately Garmin only allow their own database to use Directional Data to distinguish between cameras on your side of the road and the other side of the road.

You can edit the alert distances with POILoader by selecting Custom mode, or you can use Ash10s Camera Manager from here which allows further customisation of the way the database alerts work.

This meams the files are ready for you to load with POILoader. Look in your POI folder and you'll see the files there.

That is the option to check for a new database, however i believe it's disabled in the free version of CM.
