I dont have a SD card.

I have deleted the loose files and updated and still the same problem.

I am going to buy a SD card then i will install on there and hopefully will be back on track.

Honestly I wish i never updated, I backed up and I cant understand why it will not revet back.

I have formated the card and reinstalled everything as it was. via explorer
Not working!
I formated the card and updated from tomtom home
Not working!
I Formated the card and installed a V7 backup i have still not working!

If you don't have a card I can only assume your earlier post was refering to formatting the internal Flash Memory?
One other trick you could try is the "Clear Flash" tool, it claims to be for map activation problems but it has been used to cure some other faults, have a read of This Page - Mike

Yes sorry, formatting the internal mem,

That clear flash only works if you have a sd card.

I might be thick but i cant figure it out.

Had enough now, i am off to another pc now to format the hard drive one last time.

Then restore again and if it still dont work............... slit my wrists!!

As Mike has said try the clear flash tool !! also when you have deleted the loose files when you connect to Tomtom home and if you are not offered any updates do you click on add maps voices etc ??If you can see the application update select it and add !! make sure you disconnect your device by the disconnect tab

If you stick in there with Mike and Andy _P I am sure you will get it sorted
