Chef_uk - could you limit your image size to 400px wide please.
If someone is using a resolution of less than 1280 it can make following the text rather difficult. _________________ Richard

Good grief - three hours - all night? It took me 32 minutes for complete download for Western Europe map on a standard Broadband connection. |

next problem thats getting my head scratched. How can i have the same POI from more than 1 country? For example, Mcdonalds in UK and France?
Do i have the rename the ov2 files for the 2 countries versions of the POI eg mcdonaldsUK.ov2 and mcdonaldsFR.ov2? |

The lengthy download time is not due to the connection at your end, it's the TT servers. I have FIOS, much, much faster than broadband, yet map download took nearly 2 hours. _________________ Garmin 1695 / 255 / 760 w/MSN - Droid w/Google nav + Navigon - Navigon 8100T - Dakota10 - GPSMap76C - GeoMate Jr. |

Do i have the rename the ov2 files for the 2 countries versions of the POI eg mcdonaldsUK.ov2 and mcdonaldsFR.ov2? | Select both Countries and Click Refresh.
The sub-categories from each country will be merged, if they have the same Name, and will download as 1 POI Category. _________________ Richard

I have a new problem test driving the TT and it seems the map is around 3 seconds behind in updating my location. The voice directions are spot on ie 300 yards etc but i would have already turned the corner and be 100y down the road before the map changes to the new direction.
Now is this possibly an isssue with using a slow SD card? Someone mentioned i should use a good fast one otherwsie i would have problems.
I don't want to have to buy one unless you guys are certain its the SD card. At first i thought it may of been because i loaded on loads of POI's from here and thought it was due to having to load all the images for each poi but even down country lanes the 3 second lag exists.
For clarification i am using a Kingston 2gb SD Card. |

It COULD be a slow card, but I'd have thought a Kingston would be OK.
First thing to try is de-selecting a whole load of poi categories in "show POIs on map" That is the main thing that slows down some models.
You can still have them selected in "warn when near POI", and if you want to navigate to one, it will automatically re-select that category to show. |
