i have looked in my map but i dont have file who are ended with .mid and .mms

only 4 files .pna and .meta and .meta.dct and .tlv

any suggestions ?

No, you are getting mixed up.
That suggestion was to force Mapshare corrections to download, but those files do not exist on v7 maps so it won't work. DO NOT rename any other files or you will mess up your maps.

Why not just accept that the Mapshare download system is BROKEN at TomTom's end?
If you do nothing, it will probably start working when they fix it. Keep an eye on these forums - people will definitely post to say when it starts working again and IF there are any new instructions required you will be told about them.

Hi,
I was over in Holland last week with my TT720 and the TMC receiver connected.

Managed to get a good reception pretty much all the time (covered large area from SW to NE). I have to say that I was most un-impressed with the quality of the traffic information despite the good signal quality. I'm pleased I only paid £29 for my TMC ariel !! - maybe one day I'll get some decent info about a real traffic jam and be able to avoid it.

Good luck

Gav Very Happy
