As a regular user of th M4 between J18 and J15 (three times a day in either direction) I can confirm that the cameras are mobile and are sited on the overbridges as per the database . These mobiles operate between the sites at random with the operator choosing witch direction he wishes to use the camera

Have you ever reported them as "seen again"? There's a nice new choice on the submission page - "Mobile seen again" which makes it dead easy. (Even though you only see it operating in one direction at a time, I always report both cameras of the pair, because, like you say, the operator only has to cross the road and open the other window). I'm pretty sure there's one pair I have never seen and it would be useful to have that site confirmed (or indeed, kicked off). MaFt's request for reports of sightings was intended to make sure that live ones are noted as alive and kicking.
