On the PC, in ActiveSync GoTo File | Connection Settings.

Ensure 'Allow network (Ethernet) etc connection with this desktop computer' is ticked. Click OK.

Launch ActiveSync on the iPAQ, GoTo Tools | options, confirm that the correct PC Name is in the 'Use this PC' field and 'Sync with this PC during manual sync' is selected. Click OK then click 'Sync'.

I've tried the above but I get the following error on my iPaq "Cannot start communications with the desktop computer. Reconnect your device. If the problem persists, see Microsoft ActiveSync Help." I've checked the help and it hardly gives any details or instructions. I'm using active sync 3.7.1 which is the latest version. Any further help anyone?
