Thought as much, and good to see and more to come! |
Trouble is, they have not got their web-site pages updated to reflect the new models. They both come with one region/country installed so I presume you have to buy the rest. The UK apparently comes with the latest TeleAtlas October 2007 maps - as to the rest, they appear to have the April 2007, whereas I am sitll stuck with even earlier maps. It also appears that if you want TMC, you have to buy that. I wait to see more.

yes, 2007.10 mapping from TeleAtlas
There will be a s90 3d or thereabouts too - with some other features (?!)
You could also look at the Mio Moov now just begining to make an appearance on their website
Neither available yet - they are at CeBIT and have announced their release, I would guess end of month for availability, and therefore on their webshop then (although usually available via other webstores before the Navman store, as they usually give priority to the main suppliers before thereselves!)
Navigon have a new 2100 Max available and the new TomToms with Reality View look good too (first time I've fancied a TomTom since my Go unit) |

Navman confirm updates for the entire S Series to Navman Connect
Quote: | The new S-series 3D models will complement the existing S-series range of S30, S50, S70 and S90i. (For those customers who already have an original S-series device – an update that includes Local Search will be available via the Navman website - www.navman.com) |
Quote: | The Local Search technology, part of the new Navman Connect content and services package, is ideal for locating shops, businesses or amenities in the local area. Local Search links to a leading online local directory search partner and enables the S50 3D to search for specific local facilities via a Bluetooth® connection to a mobile phone. Users of the S30 3D are able to use Local Search to identify shops, amenities or facilities on the Navman Connect desktop software before their journey and download to the device before setting off. |
Lets hope there are more updates to come - they will need them to fight off S Series and MioMap defectors...! |
