Still doesn't excuse the shoot first ask the questions later, the guy has been a member for just over a week and the fact that he was able to download the current database obviously means that he has a paid up subscription.
The licence terms clearly state it may be used on up to 3 devices. I use it on my Go720, O2 XDA 0rbit and also my old O2 XDA II which my daughter uses which is still on MY O2 contract. _________________ Graham.

For what it's worth in the absence of further information about this particular GPS, is it possible that the "files" which are referred to as already being on the sat nav are the original speed cam files which were on the unit when it was purchased?
Whatever happened to "innocent until proven guilty"?
If we scare the poor guy to death with accusations, then he's less likely to provide the requested information and nobody will benefit.
At the same time, even IF the files on this unit were PGPSW and obtained through dubious sources, wizzywig (who's only been a member for a week) is unlikely to be the person who downloaded the database and made it available. _________________ Andy

OK guys, I posted explaining why we were perhaps a little over zealous here and I don't think it needs to be drawn out any further.
wizzywig if you haven't gone into hiding already please come back and we will be happy to help, my apologies for what was a less than encouraging welcome, we're normally much friendlier
I can see that you downloaded the TomTom database, is your device a new unit that might have the pre-installed TomTom cameras on there? if so simply delete them using TomTom HOME (make sure you have a backup first!).
If they are from anywhere else (and I don't need to know where!) then you can again delete them using HOMe or if you're happy using explorer, you can delete them using that method. _________________ Darren Griffin |

That's not how I saw it developing....
There was very little info given and the first two answers other than Dennis's assumed the guy owned a particular brand of satnav.
Dennis's two original questions were both perfectly relevant to answer the question... |

Blinkered vision.
As Darren has already stated, hardly the welcome a new member should be subjected to.
Enough said. _________________ Graham.

Actually I was hoping my last post was 'enough said'. I've apologised so let's drop it now or I'll lock the thread. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Lock away....
But not before I object to the "blinkered vision" line |
