Go 500 hangs then shuts down

I changed the SD card that wouldn't load for another new one and that has loaded alright and works. But I still have the original problem of it occasionally hanging when I am recalculating a route whilst it is already navigating.

I am beginning to suspect it might be a hardware fault (processor ?) as it only happens when I try to get it to do more than one thing at a time.
For instance I have found that if I check for traffic updates and try to recalculate a route and its navigating at the same time it will hang

In addition to the Tom Tom standard items I have Tripmaster installed ( http://www.webazar.org/tomtom/tripmaster.php?lang=uk ) and when I turn that off it all seems to work OK.

I don't think it is Tripmaster causing the problem, because I had that installed for two months (using it every day) before this 'hanging' problem started

You used to get that behaviour if the card was getting full. IIRC, it needs a few MB "thinking space".

The new card is 1gb and has loads of unused space.

I phoned Tom Tom support and described the problem and the person on the other end of the phone said I am possibly trying to get it to do too much all at once He also suggested reinstalling the application again and see if that improves it

Does anyone know somewhere in London where I can get it tested and or repaired ?
