Google "Oximoron", moron!!
I couldn't find a dictionary (and particularly not a funny foreign language dictionary, which would probably only have told me that el oxímoron means oximoron) - I shall now attempt to make a bookmark for that one of yours, to go with the acronyms one.
Edit. That damn dictionary link only tells me a definition of oxymoron, not how to look for definitions of morons!! _________________ Dennis

Are you using the PGPSW speed cameras? If so, why can't you just set them up to 'Warn When Near POI' and untick the box that says 'Only warn if on route'.
Yes, I am using the PGPSW speed cameras.
Then you don't even need a route to be plotted, so no voices, but it still warns you when you approach the cameras.
That's a good point. Next time I'm out and about I'll try that one.
Presumably that's what you want - i.e. you don't need a route plotted at all because you know it well already, but you still want speed camera warnings?
That's right. I don't need the route plot. To be quite honest, I know exactly where all the speed cameras are as well, but sometimes you drive on autopilot, and it's very worthwhile being warned.
Apologies if I've got the wrong end of the stick here! Seems too obvious, so possibly I've missed the point somewhere?!
No. You've hit the nail on the head, and I've now got two options. The route plotted and silent voice set, or your fine solution. Very many thanks.
