Cool, so can the powers that be make this an option!
I am a webmaster myself so this should be easy to do.
ROFL. You made my day. Besides, I still don't understand what exactly needs changing. Please list it again in simple terms.
Yeah, and I give you free lifetime membership to the speedcameras when you figure out the cause for the download issues... because I haven't yet. _________________ Lutz

From what I can see at the moment when you combine several sub-categories into one POI Category it suffixes the POI sub-category name to every POI.
So basically I think we need the 3 formatting options below for combined sub-categories with regard to the names of the POIs inside the POI category.
Combined POI category naming format options
Option 1 - Shopping Centre/Town name, POI Name (current format)
Sturry Retail Park, PC World
Horsted Retail Park, PC World
Sturry Retail Park, Currys
Horsted Retail Park, Currys
Option 2 - POI Name, Shopping Centre/Town name
PC World, Sturry Retail Park
PC World, Horsted Retail Park
Currys, Sturry Retail Park
Currys, Horsted Retail Park
Option 3 - POI Name (TomTom build in format)
PC World
PC World
Currys
Currys
Not only do I think option 3 is neater this is also what TomTom uses on their built in POIs which combine several shops into one category, if the screen was a PC this might not be an issue but with limited width on the screen the current format (option 1) give very untidy and truncated results as per my examples above this post.
Now with regard to non-combined POIs the formatting options are not necessarily needed as if you are search a POI Category called "PC World" all the results are PC World so it does not matter too much what it displays, but again I think option 3 is neater and it does have one advantage as I often use "Search all POIs near me", now this fails with the PC World test as all the POIs in PC World are town names, so it never finds it.

PM me with the details of what you are using and I can see what I can do to help, maybe a apache, mysql or php memory or file size limit that is causing this.
More imporatantly I have to use Firefox on my Mac to download as you are aware this page in question does not work on Safari.
I hope you follow me if not PM me and I will give you my personal email address, as I think this is a better place to discuss this!
Might as well put my pennyworth in, for me i would like to see in combined downloads:
1) PC World, Town,Address
2) Asda, Town, Address
For Single downloads:
1) Town,address,
Phone numbers can be usefull for some but not neccesary for me, due to using pda with contacts anyway.
When I am usually looking for a shop etc,i am usually looking for something on the route I want to go, not neccesesarly in the opposite drection although a couple of miles nearer, or for a Specific poi in a specific place, secondary places become secondary for looking, A lot of other POIs show just a street name without a location and you then afetr to spend emormous amount of time trying to figure out which town its in and which direction, It doesnt matter what tom or anybody else does, the idea should be to get this database off the ground as the best one.

But will any of it make any difference You should see what I am having to cope with in the submissions.
I took the trouble to post some guidelines for submissions and quite honestly I need not have bothered. Even simple things like phone numbers have to be edited into the +441234123456 format

Richard, I have recently submitted a large file and it was not easy and still not sure if correct or not, when doing it I constantly looked at it and wondered should i do it this way or that way despite looking at guide lines(it may be me thats thick), may I make a suggestion that would it be possible show a link to an actual submission file showing all requirements perhaps 2 or 3 different and also including phone numbers, then this would give nobody any excuse to be wrong, I am sure this would also help yourselfs in entering this information, also if any problem in my submission i would gladly accept feedback and resubmitt, Keep up the good work

I have used a combined Shopping file on my PDA running TomTom as an example and have come to the conclusion that it is better to have the Subcategory name at the start of the POI name. Lutz has made the change so see what you think
