there's a few night modes available dil, have a look in the menu

God you chaps are good, thanks for the tips, thing is up to now I quite like the "one", you get the speedcam warning without the thing blaring at you till you pass the camera, thought I wouldnt have liked that but if anything it makes you more aware of your speed.

I find that the "africa" colours with the brightness turned down to 5% is a good night scheme.
