the red text at the top of the tomtom home will not let me click on it the arrow doesnt turn to a pointing finger and it wont let me log on either i have tried clicking on the log on icon at the bottom of TT home but it turns a light blue briefly then goes back to the grey

I think that probably the best thing to do is first Remove TT HOME. Use the Start | Programs | TomTom | Remove method.

Then download TomTom Home again from HERE.

This will give you the latest Version and that might overcome your problem.
