Finally got my TTOne from PCWorld
I have updated the software through tomtom home and the internet, also loaded on an older speed camera database.
Is it normal for TTONe to alert you to a speed/red light camera on the otherside of the road? |

OK i did some reading and found the answer.
Is there anyway around this apart from making a route? |

Even when you make a route it will still alert from cameras on the other side of the road (unless its a dual carriageway)
This is inherent in the system. A camera or any other POI is just a spot on the road as far as the TomTom is concerned. It has no idea of direction, and a single carriageway road is just a single "route" (you notice the red line on the screen covers the whole road...) |
