Camera warning query

Sorry if this is a repeat question, but just to clarify. If the TTG has a route planned, and 'warn only if POI on route' selected then the speed cameras warning will only show if it is on the road you are on. If using the TTG without a route selected, ie it is just following where you are on the map, then the speed camera wont show. If turning off the 'warn only if POI on route' then the camera warning would activate provided the camera was within the selected range (500 yards for example) and therefore this would go of if the camera was nearby but not necessaily on the same road.?
