New User! VistaC mapping queries

I cant transfer maps to the quest either... I've noticed that the 'unlocked' code is for region 5??!! I am more than fed up with this now!!! have anyone got a region 1 25 digit code I can try - to check this is the case??

I've read your posts and I'm not clear what software you've bought.

You have a Vista C and a Quest. The basemaps don't matter, you'll not use them except when desperate!

Both your GPS units will both load map data from any of Garmin's Mapsource, City Select or City Navigator programmes. The latter 2 programmes included auto-routing data and are "locked". The discs and software can be backed up easily but the software locks cannot be circumvented.

Each CS & CN programme can be unlocked to two different Garmin units via the internal serial number of the GPS units. This is true for whatever region maps you buy, beg or borrow.
