Send it back and get another one as it must be U/S - they do go wrong at times but it is rare, if it it won't pair then there is something amiss, have you checked the PDA is actually OK on BT and its not that, that it is at fault ? |

i think it is the PDA itself as i can detect the GPS with my PC and mobile phone but neither can detect the PDA |

Try to connect the ipaq to the PC via BT or the mobile, it should pair and work - if the problem is with the PDA then that is the unit to send back - does the PC report valid GPS status over BT, either memory map or autoroute should display present position if the GPS has a clean line of site to the sky |

Then - I think we have found the problem send it back and a repair should sort it out - unfortunatly no quick fix, but this nigh on proves what is at fault - Mike |

One real no brain question that has sprung to mind (and I appologise in advance) is the BT actually switched on - the reason for asking is you can get to all these screens without actually switching the radios on - dumb one but worth asking before a parcel sender |
