OK what happens to the battery status in terms of charge - just because the light has gone out does not have to mean the charging has stopped - does the avail batt strength in the settings section deplete over time, I had a similar problem with my 4700 but that was down to the software I had loaded as it played with the OS on the ipaq and turned the LED off, but in reality it was actually receiving a charge - give it a try - Mike

Running TT5 on 3950, no real problems. Just remember to shut down TT5 properly b4 turningoff Ipaq otherwise you will get notification error (just a nuisance really).
Does seem to take a bit longer planning a route, but thats down to just having the one UK map whereas with TT3 you could use regional ones which were smaller in size and quicker to search. Ive used in France and it was ok there as well. I find it best in Landcape mode, although I swore by Portrait originally. Hope thats helpful.

Thats all i need to know....its not listed as a supported device on TT's site, but am sure ive read on here somewhere that people have it working on the 3950???

Please help, as i seem to be getting nowhere fast -most companies dont seem to want to help being that the 3950 is gettin on a bit now.

Thanks in advance

OK, To recover your hi-jacked thread. I am running TT5 on an iPaq 3950, and it works fine, except that it needs a 'soft reset' nearly every time you use it. I am using it with a Navman 3000 jacket, which has to be configured as a wired GPS, baud rate 9600. (I think thats right, I don't have the kit with me at present to check).

there you go..
