TOMTOM5 does not start........

My free main mem is 45mb, when tt5 was loaded it showed 14mb free, so 31mb was needed.

Can you delete any progs to free some mem up?

Try defragging the sd card using a card reader.

ok now i m back with my same problem..... Crying or Very sad

i already format my sd card with default setting which i suppose was FAT16 and 4 Cluster something i don't remember now

OK, did you format the sd card and then reinstalled the maps recently? If so I don't know what else to suggest.

Have you tried defragging (not formatting) the sd card?

yes after formatting the sd card i installed maps on it

i just format my sd card not defragged
shall i defragge sd card

hi to u all
i just checked registry on my xda
i can see any reg value on my xda regarding tomtom

only four things i can see are in

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Apps\TomTom~bluetoothSupport
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Apps\TomTom Contacts Navigation
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Apps\TomTom Navigator
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Apps\TomTom Today

thats it can any one else check for me is there any other registry value if yes please can you please type it here

ok now got it working

i read through xad developers and this forum then concluded that
i have to install tomtom GPS software which i dono i deleted from windows directory.

ok here are the steps by step instruction if in case some one stuck in same sitution

A) Remove SD Card from yr XDA/PDA
B) unistall Tomtom 5
C) install tomtom gps upgarde which is free availale from tomtom wesite if u don't have one (I use version 3.07)
D) insert SD card
E) tomtom auto install should start now

thats it its working now
