It will work on any GO, .... and yes.

The order is not really very important all as i wanted to do was have the tomtom apps quick add camera icon on the first screen so as i can add these cameras whilst driving at the moment my quick add camera is on main menu 4 of five with sat sync and set time zone etc etc

is it possible to have the camera on the first screen but retain all of the tomtom menus.

The order they appear in the standard menu (without the tomtom.mnu file) is important as all the new menu items have numbers not names and the numbers seem to be diferent for everyone so from the order I can work out the numbers.

If you open tomtom.mnu in Notepad on the PC and you have TTG switched on, you can go through each page of the menus and follow it on the PC.

When you see the Camera icon on your screen, just count the icons, from top left to top right and then from bottom left. This will tell you in the .mnu file what the TASK_SDKx number is of the action in the same position.

If it was the Top Right icon that is the 3rd item on the corresponding Page.

You then have to choose which item you want to remove from Page 1, then do a straight swap in the .mnu file.

Save it, then copy it.

Just create one by saving eg tomtom.txt file as tomtom.mnu.

In order for these apps to work, you will need 5.202 installed. This version is part of the apps download. I think the SDK folder will be installed with 5.202.

Cheers

jim-bob on one of your replies to me i seem to have missed a command

TASK_SDK"number which you noted before" where does this go please i think this may be the reason for my apps not showing when the tomtom.mnu file is installed

when i put in the tomtom.mnu file which i created in notepad, i then put this file in the sdkregistry folder which i created when i turn on the ttg i then see the new custom menus but i seem to lose the quikam icons and it does not show in the custom menu, if i then delete the tomtom.mnu file it then goes back to the original menu and my camera icons are back

can anyone see where i am going wrong please

the tomtom apps are also in the sdkregistry folder
