Hi andy, was just wondering if you would be interested or not,

I have 2 Kingston 512MB SD Cards (just like on the link below) and I do not use one of them, I got the other for a present. It is near brand new and I have only used it once for TomTom. I am wanting to sell it, and I could sell it to you for £25 inc P+P.

if you are interested private message me or email me at

jumpinatshadows@hotmail.com

If not, don't worry.
Just a thought.
Cheers,
LydiaChris

Yes that was what I was going to suggest if the above didn't work.
I am pleased that your going to get the SD Card. You can cancel the order if your quick enough, otherwise don't worry. Smile If you did purchase the card off me, I would of put some useful applications on the card for you. Exclamation to get you started with your XDAIIi.

Any more problems, just ask,
Cheers,
LydiaChris

Hi.

Pleased that it is working ok.

I am assuming that you have installed the london map area on your sd card???!!!

Even if you havnt then browse to the map folder, and copy the poi and bitmap file which you want to include in tomtom.

Then in TomTom, go to settings and go to the POI enable/disable screen. Tick the boxes of the new POI you have just installed then you should see them as you drive.

Hope this helps,
Regards,

yup thats what i am doing but they not showing even after a reset BUT in saying that i am still waiting for my sd card to arrive so i have to redo it all after that arrives as my memory is full
i'll be reinstalling once it arrives then i'll see how it all goes

but in saying that i see i have a rouge poi (checkpoint) that is showing up and i can't find the darn thing anywhere on my system ,it's very weird .
but i'm really waiting for the upgrade to tt5 as it's just around teh corner

How strange!!!

It could be to do with the POI's are not on the SD Card in the Map Root Folder.

Yeah...thats all I do (sorry just double checking!!!) Copy both the ov2 and bmp file to the Great_Britain_Map folder on my SD. You should do the same when you get your SD Card. Then just enable them on the POI Screen in TomTom.

Anyway, any more questions just ask.
Cheers.
