Hardly, the danger area is the zone in which you are photographed, for a GATSO this is an area between 20 and 60 yds after the camera as you approach. For a Truvelo which faces towards you the danger zone is between 15 and 45 yds before the camera. So an alert would give you a shorter warning for a Truvelo site and consequently less time to react should you need to reduce speed.

As the database stands you cannot set a seperate warning for Truvelo as they are grouped with Gatso's but we may decide to seperate the two at some point.

But for now, for those of us using an application like GPSAssist, which can issue an alert at a user-defined time or distance before the camera, all we need to do is to increase the time or distance to give us a safer buffer.
